| | I just bought three more pairs of shoes while out shopping with a friend. I couldn't help myself - I had an uber-cheap vacation (under $200 in the end), and some money I got for selling myself to science, so I had a bit extra. I decided to splurge, and while talking with my friend, I was trying to come up with an estimate of how many shoes I own. I guessed around 60, and when I got home I actually did the tally:
15 pairs of flip flops
2 pairs of flat sandals
8 pairs of tennis shoes (one kept at work, one for grungy stuff, one for the animal shelter, the rest for me)
8 pairs of boots (dress and utilitarian)
35 pairs of other shoes
3 pairs just purchased today

Yeah, guess I'm a bit obsessed.
